Before writing code, let us prepare the tools. You need PHP 8.3 or newer, Composer, and Node.js.
Creating the project
Run this in the folder where you keep your projects:
composer create-project laravel/laravel shop
cd shop
php artisan serveSetting up the database
Open the .env file, fill in the database name and user, then run the migrations:
